ECOArt Exhibition 2011

Red Brick Arts Council presents a collaboration with Aspen Eco Fest, June 3rd-June 5th, 2011.  The second annual ECOArt Exhibition is FREE and open to the public and showcases artwork of Colorado students K-12 and regional professional artists, through June 23.

Eco artwork inspires environmentally friendly practices that benefit community and ecosystem and promotes art in education. 

Students K-12 ECOArt Exhibition

Cash awards to be given to school art departments!  Schools must RSVP by Friday, March 18, 2011.  The Art Exhibition takes place June 1-19, 2011.

Professional Artists ECOArt Exhibition

Entries must be submitted along with application by Friday, April 15, 2011.

Executive Director of the Red Brick Arts Council Debra Muzikar says: “This is the largest program supporting artists and art in education involving 21 Colorado counties, 54 school districts and 82,000 students.  The EcoArt Exhibition collaboration between Aspen Eco Fest and the Red Brick Council for the Arts has led us down a very exciting new path.”

When you attend Aspen Eco Fest, don't forget to look for the beautiful artwork which will be on display at both the Wheeler (Eco Fashion Show) and Limelight Lodge (Sustainable Buffet Dinner and Green Tie Ball) events.  Tickets for both events are available May 1st.

The Red Brick Arts Council has provided us with a special offer for EcoArt artists.  The Pitkin County Landfill is allowing free access to all EcoArt artists to collect found items for their works!  This offer is good through May 1, only!

Just tell them you are an EcoArt artist.
